First BETTER vault

The first vault is in final pre-launch testing. The current launch direction is:

• one closed beta vault first, with a $25,000 USDC total deposit cap
• whitelist priority for closed beta Terminal testers, with public backfill if the cap is not filled
• 24-hour stake window before per-user deposit caps are calculated from total staked $BETTER
• fixed-term structure: 4 weeks for the first vault
• full-exit withdrawals only; no partial withdrawals at first launch
• Polymarket-first execution before broader venue expansion

Vault infrastructure and safeguards

• staking-enabled vault access for qualifying $BETTER holders
• fixed drawdown tolerance and fractional Kelly sizing in the strategy layer
• independent vault audit work as soon as practical before or around launch

Access ratchet milestones

BETTER uses a permanent ratchet system for access thresholds.

When a new fully diluted valuation all-time high is reached, the lower threshold becomes the new permanent threshold and does not move back up later if FDV falls.
